 Within this medium the primary course of action was experimentation for, classically, this medium is used to document or capture something already visible, a snapshot, yet where angels are concerned this is difficult. In regards to angelic physicality. Photography relies on two of it’s fundamental aspects form and light, for without light the photograph could not exist and without form it’s existence would hold little if no significance. It was these aspects that I exploited within the ideology of the human form surrounded by an ethereal or unearthly light, at the same time as keeping in key with other aspects of the fundamental elements of art. In the following series of prints the ideas of science and religion are combined as they were in the renaissance, whilst creating a new religious icon, a Tesla Angel, an angel that is reliant on the existence of energy, in this case electricity. We  can draw quite pertinent comparisons between the earthly energies based in physics and the other sciences and then draw this together with the ideology of immortality and spiritual journeys. These angels exist physically without substance, and spiritually without belief.
